I’M FROM AZHERBAJAN, WHAT IS KICKBALL?
Wow, we get this a lot; Azherbajanies seem to love our site. Check out the about the OKC page, silly. Kickball shares many of the same rules as baseball, but, instead of wielding a bat, you use your feet. Plus, instead of playing with a small, hard ball, you wail on a big, red, rubber playground ball.
WHEN DO YOU PLAY?
Our season starts Thursday, June 5th and concludes with an all-day tournament on Saturday, October 18th. But we are always up for pick-up games in addition to our regular schedule. Just make sure to check the message board for more playtime.
WHO PLAYS IN THE OKC?
We're a mixed group of adults from all over the Portland metro area. We vary in age, profession, gender, alcohol consumption ability... Essentially, we’re everyone and everywhere. Check out our team pages for more info on our players.
WHERE CAN I CATCH A GAME?
Our games will be played at various fields across Portland:
- Kellogg Elementary (3330 SE 69th and Powell)
- Lents Park
- Northgate Park
- Kenton Park

HOW MANY PLAYERS ON A TEAM?
Our teams range in size from about 14 players to a maximum of 20. It depends on how reliable your teammates are and how many benchwarmers you need. If it helps, 10 players are on the field defensively.
HOW MUCH FOR ALL THIS TOMFOOLERY?
$875 per team, my friend. That gets you 22 regular season games and another 2 games in our end-of-season tournament. You also will be invited to our four Saturday double-header events and end-of-season party!
PARTY?
Like we need an excuse to party. But yes, there will be an end-of-season shindig, and by shindig we mean slosh-fest and by slosh-fest we mean ridiculous extravaganza and by...ahh, you get the point.
HOW CAN I JOIN?
Our 16 team slots are full for 2008. Essentially, you need to hit up one of the existing teams to see if they have room on their roster for an additional player, as we are a club sport dedicated to serving 16 teams in 2008.
CAN I GET ON A WAITING LIST OR SOMETHING?
Absolutely! First off, feel free to post on our message board as an individual looking for a team--teams are free to add players up until August 31st. If you represent a full team looking to join the OKC after the 2008 season, please click here to learn more about the process.
